We offer several different print media, which, together, cover a wide range of applications. All materials are printed with the tried and tested Epson UltraChrome pigment inks, which have excellent lightfastness and great colour space. Unless otherwise specified, we use a unidirectional printing process, 4-pass-mode and a resolution of 1440dpi, which results in optimal tone value, gradient and colour.

Info on Uncoated Paper

Our high quality uncoated papers in combination with the pigment inks we use offer a durability of up to 100 years. You’ll find some interesting details on this subject in our theory section. Simply contact us if you have special requirements – we’re happy to help!

Oberfläche PhotoRag

Hahnemühle Photo Rag, 308g (HPR308) – a classic in Fine Art Paper. Photo Rag is a genuine mould-made paper made from 100% cotton, with a marvellously matt, naturally silky surface and a pleasantly unobtrusive character. Hahnemühle papers are an industry standard when it comes to high-quality paper that features a unique inkjet coating which produces images of a harmonic colour intensity and an exact sharpness. Like all quality papers from the Hahnemühle mould-made paper factory, Photo Rag conforms with the norms according to DIN 6738 / ISO 9706, which designate archive type paper with the highest resistance to ageing. It is pH-neutral, alkaline buffered and contains only small quantities of optical brighteners.

Whiteness / chromaticity co-ordinates: 97.2/0.5/-0.2 (Lab) The technical data sheet is available here.

Price bracket 2
Hahnemuehle Photorag

Hahnemühle William Turner, 319g (HWT310) is a classical artist paper with a fine-grained surface. The material and the matt structure of this paper quality match the optical and haptic properties that artists are used to from working with traditional papers. William Turner is a genuine 100% rag, pH-neutral, alkaline buffered paper that contains only small quantities of optical brighteners

Oberfläche Galerie Smooth Pearl

Crane Museo Silver Rag (CMSR300) - Crane Museo Silver Rag is a very special paper. Made from 100% cotton, acid-free and without optical brighteners, it complies with the high archive standards of durability like all our high-quality artist papers. But the surface makes all the difference: it is semi gloss and reminiscent of the classical, air-dried baryta paper. Perfectly suitable for impressive b/w photos, as well as for breath-taking colour photography: it features a superb colour range, tone value and deep black tone, as well as highest durability!

Price bracket 3

Innova FibaPrint Gloss Ultrasmooth (IFGU280) - Innova Fibaprint Gloss is a special paper as well. It is bright white, made from alpha cellulose but it looks and feels like an air dried baryta paper. It won the 2006 TIPA Award for “Best Independent Inkjet Paper.” Outstanding performance for impressive b/w pictures and breathtaking colour shots: it features a superb colour range, tone value and deep black tone, as well as highest durability. It has a little more gloss than Crane Museo.

Price bracket 3
ILFORD Galerie Gold Fibre Silk (IGGFS310) Manufactured by Illford Switzerland, this paper features a silky gloss surface, high whites without optical brighteners, wide colour space and deep blacks and an unsurpassed flatness.
Price bracket 3

HARMAN FB Gloss AI (HFB320) Manufactured by Harman (i.e. Ilford UK), this paper’s gloss comes closest to the traditional gloss of an air dried darkroom print. Paper medium and surface equal Illford’s Galerie black and white papers. The paper is very white, uses optical brighteners – as do the classical darkroom papers – and provides an exceptionally sharp image representation.

Info on Photo Paper

We offer you a number of beautiful high-quality photo papers, which correspond exactly to the classical photo papers in their appearance and in the impression they convey. With pigmented inks, which we use because of their high durability, you should note that the photo papers do not achieve exactly the same kind of gloss as classical prints: the ink pigments remain on the surface and their gloss will differ from that of the paper. Because of this, we selected the media that produce the most beautiful gloss. Overall, the papers are excellently suited for all photographic subjects and are very convincing in their colour space and their unsurpassed brilliance.

Please note that our close-ups are only meant to give you an impression of the paper surface, not of its whiteness (you wouldn’t be able to see anything!). All papers certainly have very high degrees of whiteness.

Its wide colour space and brilliant representation make it the perfect paper for all large format (exhibition) photos.
